Scott Gossard acquired the company in 2017 with the goal of continuing the company’s legacy of exemplary workmanship, open and clear communication and client-centered construction services.

Owner and managers
A Montana resident since 1978, owner Scott Gossard has worked in construction throughout the Western United States since 1986. His experience includes engineering and managing large-scale projects such as dams, wastewater treatment facilities, and cross-country pipelines, as well as overseeing the construction of residential and commercial structures.
Co-owner and Building Operations Manager Robbie Tipton is the driving force behind JDL's day-to-day excellence. When Robbie joined the company over two decades ago, he had no prior experience in building construction — today, he oversees every aspect of JDL's operations with the kind of hands-on expertise and institutional knowledge that only comes from truly growing up in the trade.
Robbie's commitment to quality runs deep. From maintaining a skilled, reliable team to ensuring every project meets JDL's high standards, he brings consistency and follow-through to everything he touches.
